ecancer publishes all trials

ALL CLINICAL TRIALS SHOULD BE PUBLISHED

Memo from ecancer: ‘A recent workshop from the European Medicines Agency on the release of data from clinical trials highlights the public desire for increased transparency in clinical trials.

However, when clinical trials do not produce the expected results, it is often difficult find a journal to consider their publication.

ecancermedicalscience (www.ecancer.org/ecms) welcomes papers on negative clinical trials and outlier data. Articles will be assessed based on the quality of the study design and significance of the topic/question, not on the success of the final results.

In many cases, the effort and care put into a clinical trial makes it worthy of publication either to report significant results or avoid duplication of effort by future researchers

Unlike most open access publishers, ecancermedicalscience does not charge any submission or author processing fees; the costs of publication are covered by supporting charities

Please inform your colleagues about us and submit your latest clinical trial results to ecancermedicalscience today. Submissions may be made by logging in to ecancer at http://ecancer.org/myaccount/ecms or contacting editor@ecancer.org.

You can also join the campaign for the publication of all clinical trials here: http://www.alltrials.net/     ‘
