I’ve posted a bmj rapid response to ‘GPs put the squeeze on access to hospital care’. It’s my personal story, but may be of wide interest because I’m highlighting the lack of access to services experienced by many cancer patients whose lives are affected by the side effects of cancer treatments. (Please ignore the repetition due copy & paste/new computer/failing eyesight/crumblie…) http://www.bmj.com/content/347/bmj.f4351?tab=responses

    Very good article.

I had similar problems, but nothing as bad as yours. So I wrote to my MEP in Brussels (local MP useless), and MEP got things moving within 10 days, and I was given Ł2,000 worth of private treatment.

The MEPs sit in Brussels forgotten by everyone – so they like to get their teeth into something that shows they have their uses!
