Mortality Report on NHS Hospitals

After the review on the Liverpool Care Pathway, The Mortality Review report by NHS England Medical Director, Sir Bruce Keogh, expected today, will show that the worst 14 NHS Hospital Trusts have been responsible for 13,000 unnecessary deaths since 2005 – Staffordshire Hospital was not a one-off. No surprise there.

At least we are getting somewhere near to the truth and openness which campaigners have been demanding year on year.
