Sharing patients’ health records

The NHS leaflet, ‘Better information means better care’ which dropped through our letterboxes recently is carefully worded and reassuring, but concentrates on the benefits of sharing your health records.

What are the downsides? Should we have to opt out of this use of our data? What will it mean in practice?
