Breast screening – ACS recommends fewer mammograms

American Cancer Society has revised its guidelines and now recommends fewer mammograms.

This is a small shift, but in the right direction – and it’s a big step coming from former entrenched views.
The news received extensive coverage in the USA in national broadcasts, major newspapers and online.
